Introducing the Hopwood Electrical Team
It’s through excellent teamwork that we are able to deliver on our promises. We’re experienced in our trade, professional in our work and form great working relationships with our customers. To help you to put a face to a name we’d like to introduce the management team.
Gareth Hopwood
Director
Having started out in the industry as an apprentice when he was 17, Gareth brings a huge amount of knowledge and experience in the trade which helped him to build a successful electrical business. He founded Hopwood Electrical in 2007 with just one apprentice and the team has grown along with the customer base. Through Gareth’s contacts and excellent reputation, he was invited to work on some commercial contracts. Having since been involved in some major retail electrical installations, Hopwood Electrical now provide a wide range of commercial electrical services alongside domestic work.
Leon Wedderburn
Domestic and EV Operations Manager
Gareth and Leon first met at college whilst learning their trade. For a number of years Leon ran his own business before deciding to team up with Gareth in 2015. He has been the driving force behind the introduction of chargepoint fitting for electrical vehicles and holds a Level 3 award in domestic, commercial and industrial electric vehicle charging equipment installation.
